Just got done with the Doyle Brunson's 5 Diamond Classic at the Bellagio two days ago. It was a total dissapointment the last day. I had a lot of chips... started the day 4th in chips. But, I never won a hand when we got down to the last 54 on Day 4. I played two major pots where I had AK and flopped a King against KQ ... and the flop came out KQJ... I am not even sure how I didn't go broke on that hand. Some how I only lost the minimum. Then the second time I had AK ... I flopped the King, and the flush got there, and I lost most of the remaining chips I had. I was down to 40k at this point, with the ante at 2,000 and the blinds were 6/12,000. I picked up A2.. and I went all in again JJ, and I didn't even have a chance to sweat an Ace because he flopped a Jack to give him trips. I managed to place 24th, only walking away with $25,339. I am hoping for much better luck next time. But congratiulations to Antoni Esfandiari on his WPT title.
