2010 H.O.R.S.E. Event

This year the 50k H.O.R.S.E. event is going to be the first tournament to start out the 2010 World Series. I am really looking forward to that, because I am going to be so fresh and well rested for this event.

Bay 101 Shooting Stars

Rested up for a few days before I headed to the Bay 101 Shooting Stars tournament. I was trying to focus on the tournament, and put up with my ex wife Susan at the same time, because she is the manager there. But, we get a long so it's all fun and games. It looks like I got to see Matt Savage more than enough this month, after I just had to put up with him at the Commerce every day! How he can run two different tournaments in two different cities without a break is more than impressive! Running the tournament at the Commerce for a month an 1/2 and going straight to the Bay 101 for 10 days. He does a great job.

LAPC

After having a pretty good run over in Europe with the cash games and the tournament circuit, I took a 12 hour flight back to LA trying to keep the run going at LAPC. But, things didn't work out so well there. I didn't win a single hand. I some how managed to sneak into Day 2 with 5k in chips, but busted  pretty quickly.

Europe

I am finally back from Europe after being there for the last month. It was a great trip. I played EPT Main Event in France and started out my trip with a strong 12th place finish. Then I played the French Championship and finished 2nd after playing heads of for 5 hours walking away with over $163,000 in prize money. It was a very long and tiring final table!

2009 WPT Bellagio Cup V Championship Event

Only days after the Main Event ended at the Rio, the Bellagio Cup began with 268 players over 2 Day 1's. A much smaller field from last years 448 entrants. Play lasted for six days straight, and only 27 players were payed out for their hard work, and long hours.

The 40th Annual WSOP

The World Series is always a long haul. Playing a different event everyday with 57 different tournaments to choose from. Then the Main Event itself lasting twelve days only to play down to th Final 9, who will then return in November for the final table! The World Series is not for the weak!

A Whole Lot of History

At the 1996 World Series of Poker (WSOP), he won the $5,000 Deuce to Seven Draw event, receiving $146,250 and besting a field that also contained Mickey Appleman, Gabe Kaplan, David Grey and Doyle Brunson. He also finished in the money of the World Series of Poker Main Event twice, placing 17th in the 1995 World Series of Poker and 13th in the 2003 World Series of Poker.
